Who is Sexture Ragland 

I am not a career politician, I am your neighbor, a devoted father, a strong willed, intelligent, dedicated, trustworthy, reliable, decisive, bold, determined, hardworking working man, that is a true believer in bringing prosperity, happiness and longevity back to District 3. As a resident on East 7 mile, I've lived on Healy, Beland, Teppert, Alcoy and six mile and Doyle, with a widowed mother of 4 we have seen firsthand the hardships and challenges that people face everyday here in District 3 and Detroit from rising costs of everyday living, to being neglected and disrespected by city and state officials and their staff, to having limited access to certain resources and opportunities. Even in these tough times we have shown strength, unity, resilience, and grit and even when things seem bleak we still find a way to surprise and survive. This is our home and we should and will come together to make a change one day and that day will be November 04, 2025 and we will make a stand and a be heard. This campaign is about us our needs and special interests, if I win I'll be your eyes, ears and voice on the inside and I promise that they will start listening to the residents and their concerns, showing solutions, and being accountable every step of the way.

    •    ✅ Affordable housing and rent protections to keep families in their homes

    •    ✅ Safe, clean streets and improved infrastructure in every neighborhood 

    •    ✅ More support for our locally small businesses and job training programs for both youth and adults that will grow our Districts pride and Integrity

    •    ✅ Expanded youth programs, agricultural programs, more land and home owning opportunities, more shelter and mental health resources, and public safety reform

    •    ✅ Transparent government that works with residents, not around them

More compassionate, understanding, respectful law enforcement, less crime, more educational opportunities for our youth and struggling adults, more family assistance programs, more opportunities for men and young men in our district, county and city that will hopefully help them become more productive citizens.
